You have probably had the news by now regarding the Taupo girls and their success at the BLOOM Her Business Businesswoman of the Year 2009 Awards.  Both Terri and Sharon won awards, Terri for Outstanding Citizenship and Sharon for Best SME.  Our table were certainly celebrating!

I would personally like to thank you for your words of wisdom and your encouragement helping me with my application to Auckland.  I was happy with my final submission, however as always it could have been improved on in so many ways........

The actual announcement of me being the winner of the Bloom Her Business Most Outstanding Business Leader category came as a complete surprise!  As we do, my acceptance speech was thorough and entertaining, and thankfully I remembered to acknowledge the sponsors first up.  I won a 2 hour consultation session for Business Sustainability with Ernst and Young’s  Managing Director, perfume, flowers, Clinique goodies, fabulous trophy (which now sits on my desk) and a winner’s smile!

Anyway, a pleasure working with you, and no doubt will see you at many more conferences and business forums. 

I have already picked up 3 speaking engagements, the ball is rolling.......

My sincere thanks once again.  I am still revelling in the success – feel the fear – live the moment!
